We build 3/4 double basses (upright basses) by hand in our workshop in Reghin, Romania. Each one is unique, with its own woods, varnish and set-up. Current models: Gamba Vivala, Panormo and French Gamba.

Which woods do you use?
The top is fine-grained Romanian spruce. Backs and ribs are maple, alder and ash, depending on the instrument. Each bass's page lists its woods, strings and measurements.
